Mary-Margaret JonesMary-Margaret Jones is a professional harpist in the Dallas-Fort Worth cities. She holds a Masters Degree in harp performance from the Peabody Conservatory of the Johns Hopkins University. Ms Jones performs for solo, chamber, and orchestral settings as well as private parties and weddings. Mary-Margaret Jones has been a performing concert harpist for over a decade. She began her musical studies on the harp at the age of ten. At twelve, she attended the Salzedo Harp School in Camden, Maine with renowned harpist Alice Chalifoux, retired Cleveland SymphonyMary-Margaret Jones harpist. She continued her summer studies there for the following five years.
Mary-Margaret Jones completed her Bachelors in harp performance at the University of Houston under the tutelage of Paula Page, Houston Symphony harpist. She went on to complete her Masters in harp at the Peabody Conservatory of the Johns Hopkins University studying under Jeanne Chalifoux, retired National Symphony harpist. She has performed in Alice Tully Hall in New York City and attended summer festivals including the Festival Institute at Round Top and the Pierre Monteux School for Conductors and Orchestral Musicians. Her orchestral experience includes the Manassas Ballet Theater Orchestra, Plano Symphony, and San Angelo Symphony.
