Greg LatoOne of Greg Lato’s ambitions for his music career in general, is to be the kind of artist capable of indulging all of his creative influences, to change his colors with each project while always staying true to himself as a songwriter. According to Motif magazine, Lato was named “Rhode Island’s next great pop recording artist.” Greg’s songwriting and recording career has allowed him many amazing opportunities including; Recently becoming a BMG signed songwriter, recording an EP in LA with co-writer/producer Jim McGorman (musical director for Cassadee Pope, Avril Lavigne, Weezer and Cher), having his song ‘Just Another Goodbye’ featured in the hit teen romantic comedy ’16-Love’, starring Lindsey Shaw from Pretty Little Liars and Chandler Massey from Days of our Lives. The film was nationwide in theaters, went to #1 on the iTunes movie charts and spent 8 consecutive months in the top 10. His music video for the song ‘Help You Out’ was aired on the FUSE channel, and all of his music videos collectively on YouTube have been viewed over a million times! Greg has written with many recording artists including Billy Gilman, Risa Binder, Derek Capobianco, Ashley Jordan, Jesse Liam, Viana Valentine, and Rob Marin among many others. He also has received awards from the Billboard World Song Contest, and written for MTV and A&E network shows. He also co-wrote the theme song for the Gloria Gemma Breast Cancer Foundation titled ‘I’ll Give Your Weak My Strength’ performed by Rob Marin and Kelley Lennon, which debuted at their monumental Flames of Hope celebration and was featured in the PBS special ‘Behind the Ribbon’.
