DJ Nikki Smiles
Nikki Smiles is an entertainer at heart… she loves to dance and mixes music they way she likes to dance to it! She is full of love and positive energy that is contagious and you can’t help but smile and groove with her while watching her perform!
Nikki has been performing/DJing in Reno since the Summer of 2012 in Reno, NV. She has delivered high energy Electro beats in several nightspots in Reno, but mostly sticks with the Burning Man events. She has volunteered her time for several art fundraisers, Compressions and Decompressions, performed as Resident DJ for the Morris Burner Hotel for several large events, performed with Controlled Burn on a few occasions to include a very successful show Monsters and Elves, as well as turned a specific Wednesday night at the Trash Fence at BurningMan ’14 into an 
evening of epic proportions! In addition to this, she performed at the popular Fur Party ’14, as well as opened for the Bass Camp / PR Entertainment show headlining EOTO at Cargo Dec. 2014. In 2015, Nikki added performances at the Sacramento Decompression “IlluminArt”, the OffBeats Music Festival, and the Gateway Gala at the Pioneer Center in Reno, NV.
Nikki tends to play an eclectic mix of music that has a “durty” beat..in the EDM genres of Electro, Breaks, Dubstep, Trap and Glitch Hop.. but also likes music with lyrics that are either about dancing or uplifting in general. She is generally a freestyle DJ that tends to mix what she feels at that moment and to the audience that is there. She also enjoys playing remixes of classic songs that span several decades and genres as well as new music with sick beats! And if you listen carefully in her recent material, she will send you messages by layering lyrics between songs! Nikki Smiles loves to keep the energy up and the dance floor hoppin’ .. and she usually succeeds! 🙂
