From the moment Cyrus saw his first black and white image appearing in a chemical bath in a darkroom, he realized he had found a new passion for life. It was 2001 when he learned how he could capture the beauty he sees in everyday life and turn that beauty into a forever moment, saved for future generations to see. Whether it is a landscape portraying the beauty of Earth, or just an abstract, he finds it that it always evokes a strong emotional response within him. Mostly a self taught photographer, Cyrus strives to be better with every snap. Line, color, shape, form, texture, balance, movement, pattern, and proportion are integral part of his images. Through their use, he hopes to create images that are unique, and to offer his viewers a new perspective. He enjoys many ty
pes of photographic subjects and styles, landscape, nature, architectural, macro, flower, night, long exposure, abstract and travel. He loves color images but dream in black and white.
His love affair with photography is what drives and motivates her every day. His love of exploration and learning drives his undying desire to capture his experiences through his lens. He uses his perspective to try and communicate in a new and creative way. This is the driving force behind his life. He is fortunate to be able to dedicate all his time and energy to this. His hope is that his images can introduce a moment of joy, inspiration or awe, as short-lived as it might be, to his audience’s life.
