Velasco Taylor
Taylor started in the makeup industry in 2013 after taking a makeup course by the well known Makeup artist/Makeup instructor Benni Sanchez. Shortly after, the facility where the class was held known as “The Makeup-artist Project” offered Taylor a position as a beauty consultant. After a few months of working there, Taylor decided to apply at MAC cosmetics to get more experience. She was hired and worked there part time. In 2015 Taylor gave up her position to focus on her own freelance career. Since then, Taylor has taught multiple classes of her own and worked with tons of amazing people. Taylor is a huge animal lover.
Taylor has 8 dogs which were all rescued in the Houston area. Taylor is also a cancer survivor. She was diagnosed with stage 2 Hodgkins Lymphoma in 2010 at the age of 15. After 6 months of Chemotherapy and 14 days of Radiation, Taylor went into remission and has been cancer free for 8 years now.
