Teanna Shantese
TeAnna Shantese is a Memphis based Hairstylist and Makeup Artist specializing in bridal makeup, silk press, and healthy haircare. She has an extensive amount of experience in the Beauty Industry. She has had the pleasure to represent several of the largest cosmetic brands; Estee Lauder, Clarins, Sephora, Smashbox and worked as one of the top beauty ambassadors for Nordstroms. She has received many awards and acknowledgements, including an all-expense paid trip to tour the Clarins Laboratory in Paris, France. Her affinity for healthy hair started around the age of thirteen. She enjoyed sitting in the salon and watching stylists service their clients. She would recreate styles on her friends and family members and was determined to one day pursue a career in cosmetology. TeAnna’s battle with low self-esteem as a teenager jumpstarted her passion for skincare and makeup. She began to experiment with and research products that would not only conceal her acne scars but also allow her skin to become radiant and healthy again.
After serving in the United States Navy, she obtained her degree in Cosmetology from Tennessee Academy of Cosmetology, and her Bachelors in Business Administration from University of Phoenix. She has also had the privilege to perfect her craft and learn from celebrity makeup artists’ and some of the industries best hairstylists such as Renny Vasquez, Beat Face Honey, Styles by Nuk and Raymond Torregano by attending classes and or direct mentorship. She decided that she would use her God given talent and experiences to uplift women by encouraging them to embrace their imperfections and be their own kind of beautiful.
