Suzette Fox
Suzette loves everything about design. She can’t remember a time in her life that it wasn’t a part of her. She grew up in a very creative environment. Her family included artists, actors, architects, and a particularly famous writer (Robert Louis Stevenson). She loved learning – and still does. In school she studied art. From there she worked for an architectural firm, designed custom furniture, staged homes for resale, studied kitchen and bath design and has been designing interiors since 2001.
But, a lot has changed since then. Every decision we make has an impact on our environment. ‘Green’ living is her top priority. The more we can reuse and recycle items, the better. She is an Eco-Designer. In her opinion, it is imperative to search for new design and building solutions that are environmentally friendly and lead to a reduction in the consumption of materials and energy. Her design philosophy balances sustainability while creating an environment that is aesthetically pleasing and stands the test of time. It is her desire to bring beauty to a space by highlighting a home’s best features taking into account the client’s personal style so it feels like home to them. In fact, it’s all about the feeling you get when you walk into a room.
If it draws you in by its beauty, feels warm and inviting, she’s done her job. She has a vision for her design business, her community and beyond. She sees the big picture.
