Mike Cassimatis
For as long as Mike can remember, he has been creating images. As a kid, he spent countless hours drawing, painting, and sketching. He continued this all the way through college, where he majored in graphic design and illustration at The University of Kansas. From there he spent over a decade as a graphic designer in the advertising industry. In 2015 he left his advertising career to pursue wedding photography full time.
While the medium with which Mike creates his images has changed over the years, his passion for creating them has remained steady. He couldn’t think of a more meaningful and rewarding way to spend his time and talent than to preserve such an important day for so many wonderful couples. Although he travels quite a bit for weddings, most of the time you can find me at home in Saint Louis with his incredible wife and their three adorable boys. He’s been fortunate enough to have his work featured in some of the most inspiring
wedding publications such as Martha Stewart Weddings, Style Me Pretty, The Knot, Magnolia Rouge, Southern Weddings, and named photographer of the year at the Saint Louis Wedding Awards.
