Welcome to Mari Creations’. The home of Mari Matamoros’ Art work. Here one will find samples of her creations. She creates art on commission, specialty textures and Faux finishes. Mari also teaches fun adult and young adults Arts, Crafts and Zen.
Born in Venezuela, raised among a multitalented family that merged from all areas of the arts such as architecture, fine arts, music, television and movie productions and generations of self made craftsmen and craftswomen. Graduated from the N.A.I.S institute of Interior Design and then attended the College of Fine Arts at Sienna Heights University in Adrian, Michigan. The concentration was sculpture with strength on hand building in ceramic medium, but life twisted the passion into drawing and painting. 
While living in Richmond, Virginia was part of the “HOWL DOG collective”. Under the teachings of professor Wolfgang Jasper and became attracted to drawing large charcoals, while in Richmond, had the pleasure to show at the Artspace Skylight Gallery. In Orlando, Florida, Mari used all the talent experimenting with new things while dedicating to assisting people decorating their homes in their very own unique way. Mari acquired a Bachelor in Business Administrations with a concentration in E-Commerce in November of 2011 from Strayer University. She is now resident in Lake Wylie South Carolina, working on finding the groove while teaching fun classes to adults and young adults. Also still making Art on commission and pursuing to start a store online soon!
