Judy Long
Tillman Long Interiors designs both residential and commercial interiors projects. Their work is generally focused in the southeast with primary and secondary homes in North and South Carolina, Georgia and Florida. They have done projects as far away as Ireland and the Bahamas. The company has been an established design firm in Atlanta for over 20 years offering full service to handle all aspects of the design and construction. They work very closely with builders and architects to create a unified team dedicated to achieving the individual client’s desired needs and desires. After consulting with the client and pinpointing their perspective, they become involved in every aspect of the design process. They help with the selection of the finish materials for the walls, ceilings, floors, cabinets, countertops, lighting, plumbing and decorative hardware. They are also able to provide lighting and electrical plans.
Once a furniture plan is drawn they help with the placement and selection of furniture, fabrics, rugs, decorative lighting, window treatments, artwork and accessories. They can provide a full service turn key installation. Judy Long, a native of Georgia, started Tillman Long Interiors after working with Alan Salzman Architects, Georgia Lighting and two interior design firms in Atlanta. Judy’s daughter Natalie joined the company in 2011. The team approaches each project with a conscious consideration for three elements that are most important in any setting: practicality, comfort and of course, beauty. Judy believes that the best design not only looks beautiful but it must function well and be practical for the client. Judy is a member of ASID.
