Devin Miclette

Devin MicletteIVORY BLACK, an Indiana native, born under the name Devin Miclette, grew up in a troubled childhood and was given up for adoption at the age of 4 into a family that later rejected them for their gender identity. Running away from home at the age of 15, IVORY traveled while playing music in coffee shops and small venues before finding home in Kansas City, Missouri in 2010.
This incredibly talented Alternative Rock/Pop singer-songwriter, who started writing music at the age of 14, immediately captured the hearts of young and old with ingeniously composed songs and powerful lyrics driven from painful life stories that relate to so many. With a looping act consisting of layers of soaring vocals, back vocals, acoustic & electric guitars, electronic drums and carefully placed sound effects, they surprise crowds everywhere as no one expects a full band sound.
As one of the first artists to come out as Non Binary Transgender, IVORY BLUE gained respect and support from local, regional, national and international radio stations, some TV stations as well as national and international magazines.Devin Miclette
