Bek & Addison Sauvan
Bek and Addison Sauvan are a married Kansas City wedding photography duo with a heart for emotion, connection, and all things non-traditional. They met when they were eleven and twelve, and married seven years later on a hot summer day under a sycamore tree in 2011. They photographed their first wedding just two months after their own and quickly realized it’s what they were made to do!
Wedding days are unique in that they’re super-charged with so much emotion, filled with unplanned and in-between moments…the raw and real stuff. Those are the things they look for as photographers. Because of that, they make it their goal to approach each day with fresh eyes and to create something meaningful and heartfelt for each of their brides and grooms. Ultimately, they love what they do so much simply because they love people. It’s a privilege to get to tell their stories and celebrate the things that bring them joy. They’ve had the opportunity to travel all over for the last several years photographing weddings and elopements, but love getting to 
come home to their little city of Lawrence, Kansas. Bek’s happy place is in the woods. She loves Johnny Cash, dry humor, and is super close with her big, loud family. Addison spends every second of his free time drumming and playing guitar.
He’s overly enthusiastic, obsessed with street tacos, and wouldn’t dare ever refuse an offer of chips and salsa. Together, they drink an inappropriate amount of coffee and live for road trips. Most important in their lives, is their love for Jesus. His grace is their constant source of inspiration.
