Ananda Vaughan

After extensive immersion in the University of Oregon Jazz Studies program, Ananda Vaughan has gone on to incorporate many other World and American styles into his guitar playing. With over 20 years under his belt on guitar, his music proves both versatile and original.
He currently works as a guitar teacher, songwriter, and session player in the Grass Valley area. Inspired by such artists as Paul Simon, Bob Marley, Dave Matthews Band, and Ali Farka Toure, Ananda combines an uplifting message with innovative guitar work. With strong roots in Jazz, Rock, Blues, and Folk traditions, he has created a sound of his own.
