Alexis Nachtigal
Alexis Nachtigal is a violinist currently residing in Central City, Nebraska. She performs with a diverse spectrum of musical groups including the band Sapien Sounds and in local contemporary concerts. Alexis also performs with the Newton’s Mid-Kansas Symphony Orchestra and Lincoln’s Symphony Orchestra. When not busy performing, Alexis enjoys collaborating with her brothers in their band Tigers on the Roof. Alexis graduated from the University
of Nebraska – Lincoln in 2015 with a degree in Music Performance. There she served as concertmaster of the UNL Symphony Orchestra, concertmaster of the UNL Opera and was a member of the Capri Piano Trio. During her time at UNL she studied with David Neely and completed a teaching internship at Nissa’s String Studio. Since graduating, Alexis has studied with Rebecca Fischer and Hyeyung Julie Yoon, members of the Chiara String Quartet. Alexis currently teaches private violin lessons in Lincoln as well as in Grand Island and Central City. She hopes to inspire a lifelong love of music in all of her students and a desire to share that with others.
