Tasha Vanasse
Tasha Vanasse (vuh – noss) has been taking real photos of real people for nearly 8 years. She lives in Portland with her husband, their brilliant daughter and their somnolent springer spaniel/dachshund, Prudence. Tasha and her husband had a fling at photo school eight years ago, fell in love and never looked back. They know that love isn’t easy, but it sure is worth it. She believes in adventure, in lasting friendships. She believes in helping people. She believes that every second of life is worth living to its fullest.
She believes in coffee (although she only drinks tea). She believes in living a thoroughly examined life. She believes in family, and above all, she believes in love. Sixty years from now, if you sit down with your love and look back over your wedding photos, and they make you remember, realize anew that this love, this life together is absolutely worth every moment (even the not-so-shiny ones), then
her job here is done. She specializes in capturing raw, real moments for raw, real people. She is based in Portland, Oregon and beyond, because after all, love knows no bounds.
Tasha truly believes that you need to love your photographer as much as you love their work. You aren’t hiring a camera, you’re hiring a human. She is seriously passionate not only about capturing beautiful moments, but about the people that create those moments and would love to know you.
