Sandra Allen Lynn
Sandra has been expressing herself with some form of art or design for as long as she can remember. After a degree in fine art and graphic design, the first years of Sandra’s profession was in publishing and advertising graphic design and art direction. In 1991, Sandra became Art Director of the marketing department for Southern Living and Southern Accents magazines.
After thirteen years in advertising, she joined the editorial department of Southern Living to pursue her love of interiors and entertaining. After five years of producing, styling and writing about home design projects and entertaining ideas, Sandra established Lynn Allen Design in 2000. In the eighteen years of owning her design studio, Sandra has worked on homes of all sizes, second homes, professional offices and country club projects.
When she is away from the studio, she enjoys experimenting with fine art and photography. “Sandra Lynn has an innate talent for color, scale and space, mix those skills with her personal sense of style, and you are assured a result that is both timeless and on-trend…a dynamite combination.” Lynn Allen Design brings a fresh mix of classic style and modern flare while emphasizing scale, lighting, and architectural detail, creating comfortable, sophisticated interiors. The design team works closely with the client, their architect, contractor and other design professionals in all facets of design and space planning.
Located in Homewood, Alabama, Lynn Allen Design’s studio has been in business since 2000. With a strong background, not only in interiors, but also in fine art, graphic design and fashion, Lynn Allen Design has an advantage in all the core design elements of color, balance, proportion, texture and space. Along with eighteen years of interior design experience, Sandra has worked as a stylist and design project manager for several magazines and volunteered with several organizations on events and entertaining. LAD enjoys projects, large and small, consulting on all aspects of a design job from concept to installation.
