LaTia Davis
LaTia Davis is a true worshiper who happens to be a Professional Background Vocalist and Actress. She started singing and acting with the youth department at the age of 6 at Gethsemane Missionary Baptist Church where The Late Pastor Emeritus Rev. Dr. Willie W. Davis was her Pastor and grandfather. LaTia got her start traveling and singing background for countless local Detroit artists as well as many National and International artists in the Contemporary Christian and Gospel music genres such as James Fortune, Ernest Pugh, William Murphy, LeAndria Johnson and Judith McAllister; just to name a few.
She was also a member of the praise team for the weekly broadcast of “Rejoice in the Word” (Word Network) with Bishop George Bloomer and the “Lexi Show” (Word Network Church). She has traveled with Crown Productions “Give Me One Reason” stage play and is currently a soprano with National Recording Artist “Joseph Derrico & Latter Rain. In 2016 she was in the hit stage play “Perilous Times” (T.J. Hemphill). She has played an array of different characters, from motherboard member, “Shonda Ro” who was a homeless drug addict, to country talking “Cousin Ann” in the 2016 movie “Redeemer” (ATN Network). She is also an Ambassador for Stellar Award-winning internet radio show “YesLord Radio”
LaTia is currently working birthing #NOFRAUDLENTLIVING ministry. Where she encourages the message, “Why live a LIE, when you can live FREE”. This movement was birthed out of pain that she had endured and experienced in her life as a child and even through adulthood, were she lived life through the lenses of full blown lies. LaTia still endeavors to complete her EP and book that that she has begun to write. She loves her family and takes joy in spending time with her 2 boys. She loves Christ with all her heart and relies on her intimate relationship with Him to lead and guide her, believing that Love, OBEDIENCE, prayer, fasting, serving and, remaining humble is the key to any locked door. LaTia is dedicated and serves as one of the church administrators at Berea City of Hope, of Ypsilanti, Michigan, where her leaders are Pastor Jermaine Johnston and Lady Lena Johnston.
