Kate Morgan
Some artists define their work as painting, or sculpture. Kate describes hers as portraiture. She does not limit herself to the photographic world for subject interpretations. Her earliest passion was drawing, which she discovered at the age of 4. She continues this passion in the mediums of printmaking, painting, and mixed media. As an artist who appreciates the human form and the emotions within, she explores many mediums to convey the limitless individuality the human form embodies.
Kate Morgan photographs in what has been described as a deeply emotional style with strong compositions. Referencing lighting and style reminiscent of European paintings, fashion and her own interpretation results in photographic portraits and combined imagery that delve beyond the surface of the subject. Each image is treated with an eye for exploring the intrigue within each individual. Kate’s imagery presents a unique view of the world.
