DressUp, Wine Down

In partnership with the Lodi Winegrape Commission, Sacramento Fashion Week, and Women Escaping a Violent Environment (WEAVE), the Handle District annually hosts “Dress up, Wine Down” on Second Saturday in May. This popular spring season occasion is a free outdoor event. The fashion show, featuring clothing from local boutiques, is coordinated by local fashion stylist and boutique owner Felicia Strati; more than a dozen Sacramento designers and clothiers participate. The Lodi Winegrape Commission hosts the wine tasting, bringing wines from more than a dozen wineries in the Lodi area, which is gaining reputation as one of the world’s fastest growing wine regions.
