Thais
Thais (a Greek name that pronounced ty-EES) was born in Brazil and spent her childhood riding horses on her grandpa’s farm and swimming on the beaches of the Brazilian Northeast coast. Her journey as a professional photographer started over 20 years ago as a photojournalist. In 2003, after her daughter was born, she began to shoot weddings and fell in love with it!
Thais treasures people and their unique stories and loves to document them through photography. Her goal is to make her clients comfortable in front of her camera, so she can capture the emotions in a natural way.
She has been running her studio full-time for almost 13 years and most of her clients come to her through referrals. And she is proud of it! She lives in Sacramento with her husband Roger, their daughter Agatha and their dogs Kaspar and Harley. When she is not photographing, she enjoys being around her family and friends, listening to the music, watching foreign movies, cooking, traveling, swimming, dancing and celebrating life!
