Sweet Revenge

Work At home

Sweet Revenge is a High Energy Girl/Guy Fronted Country Band with a Rock Edge based out of Folsom, CA. Their set list consists of “Classic Country”, “Modern Country” and “Rockin Country” with surprise mashups and medleys you wouldn’t expect from a Country Band. With everything from Hank to Aldean, Blink 182 to Queen. Sweet Revenge has the material to keep the drinks flowing and the party going!
Each member has had their own separate band/music projects in the past, so combining them has made for an easy transition. The name “Sweet Revenge” comes from the belief that everyone has their story, and that the “Sweetest Revenge” does not come by getting back at those who have hurt you or put you down…but by rising past the hurt, being happy, and ultimately being successful.
Sandy Nuyts
(Lead Vocals/Acoustic Guitar)
Although Sandy hit the local music scene just a mere 2 years ago and has since played venues from the Bay Area to LA. At the young age of 3 Sandy began dance classes and started performing on stage in recitals and in church plays. At age 12 Sandy fell in love with the musical theater where she was able to not only dance but also use her vocal talent and began performing in various musicals through Junior High and High School. Just before turning 21 Sandy was introduced to a friend of a friend who was going to be opening a new country bar in Sacramento and was offered a bartending position.
Soon after the bar opening, they began to have karaoke every night and Sandy began singing again. Shyly singing karaoke turned into her becoming “The Singing Bartender”, which then turned into live bands asking her on stage during shows, which then created a buzz and people began asking Sandy why she doesn’t sing in a band. After 4 years of encouragement and persistence from customers and friends, Sandy joined her first band in 2011. She has since developed as a performer and singer and had no intention of stopping.
